Punjab AVGC-XR & Media Entertainment Association
PAMEX unites Punjab’s animation, gaming, film, OTT, and media industries, empowering talent to build a global powerhouse.
The Punjab AVGC‑XR & Media Entertainment (PAMEX) Association aims to unite and empower all stakeholders in the Animation, Visual Effects, Gaming, Comics, Extended Reality (AR/VR/MR), Film, TV, OTT, and Digital Media industries in Punjab.
Our goal is to create a thriving ecosystem of talent, studios, institutions, creators, and enablers to shape Punjab as a national and global media-tech powerhouse.
Membership
Individuals working in animation, gaming, filmmaking, journalism, editing, sound design, XR, etc.
Eligibility: 1+ years of experience or portfolio of published work/projects.
Animation/media institutes, vocational skilling academies, colleges, and universities offering UG/PG courses in animation, gaming, XR, filmmaking, and media entertainment.
Eligibility:
For institutes/academies: Must be registered and running relevant AVGC-XR or media programs.
For colleges/universities: Must be UGC-approved or affiliated, with relevant departments/faculty.
This category includes Social Media Creators (verified or large-scale news/entertainment channels, individual content creators), established or upcoming Film Cities, Punjabi movie production houses, film development companies, News Channels (regional/national), TV Channels (broadcast/cable), and OTT Platforms (streaming content creators).
Eligibility:
For Social Media Creators: Registered media company or platform, active content publishing, minimum 10,000+ followers or credible reach.
For Film/Media Production Entities: Legal registration with at least one completed or ongoing project in film production.
Animation/VFX/game/XR production studios, post-production companies, and creative
agencies.
Eligibility: Legally registered entities with operational credentials.
This membership is meant for technology providers who are helping shape the future of the AVGC-XR industry in Punjab.
Voting Rights & Policy Advocacy: Play an influential role in shaping the association’s future and representing the industry in policy discussions.
